PORTRAIT RETOUCHING MASTERCLASS

Do you sometimes look at your pictures and think “there is something missing”? In digital era, photo retouching is an equivalent of film developing. Taking a picture is just one of the steps to achieve a great, final product. When we shoot in “RAWs” in a digital camera, the product we receive is a “negative”, a raw file. This negative needs to be developed and processed to look its best. And there is always something we can do with a picture. To do this, most photographers use Photoshop and/or Lightroom software. These are most common, powerful tools, if used properly and in moderation.
During my workshops I always stress the importance of working on a picture WHILE we are taking it – i.e. paying attention to details, the lighting, the pose, the hair that gets in the way and dozens of other small details that can make our retouching either easy or a nightmare. Work on the picture BEFORE you put it in the computer, so that your editing is only putting a cherry on top of what is already good.
Respect your shutter and your time.
I spent years mastering my editing skills. It is not an easy thing to learn, it requires practice and a lot of know-how. My masterclass will help you speed this process up. I will share my knowledge with you, teach you how to put that “cherry” on top of your images. I will teach you, step by step, how to apply natural-looking photo retouching to skin, hair, teeth, eyes, and I will discuss other features with Photoshop, Lightroom, and other software that I use.
I will spend tome with you, one-on-one, sharing screens on Skype, or sitting side by side at an in-person class, and I will show you, on your own pictures, how the magic happens.
This workshop is a great way to improve the appearance of your pictures, whether you are a fashion, family or portrait photographer, at anytime you need to make your subjects look their best.
