When I travel around the globe with my Between Shadow & Light – Film Noir Portrait Lighting Workshops I usually travel alone. The reason is simple. It is NO VACATION and as much as I would love to bring my husband with me, he would be bored to death with me constantly on the move, busy and in the evenings – downright exhausted.
But this time I decided – enough! You, my dear husband, are going with me. I couldn’t have made any other decision, as he is a BAILEY! Irish ancestors would not forgive him (or me for that matter) if I did not allow us to see where he comes from.
So off we went and headed to DUBLIN.
We were very lucky to have our dear friends, Anna and Tom, give us their spare bedroom in their lovely home for the first part of our travels and showed us the gorgeous Malahide and Howth <3
Also, we want to thank Pola, Piotr, Sopia and Pola’s Mum for showing us the amazing Wicklow!
It wouldn’t be the same without you:)
But, let’s not forget the main purpose of this trip – MY WORKSHOP which was beautifully organised and wrapped up by amazing Padraic Deasy & Patrick Clarke from Seamless Photo, the Official Partner of my portrait masterclass in Ireland.
The workshop was amazing. We had 3 Polish ladies, 2 gentlemen who came to this workshop from USA (!), a lady from London and one gentleman from a nearby town.
We had fun, we learned a lot, we laughed, dined and most of all – we met amazing new passionate people.
Please fillow my blog for a post related especially to this workshop! Coming soon.
In the meantime, enjoy photos of Dublin, Malahide, Howth, Kilternan, Kilkenny, Irish green fields and sheep, and extra photos from London, courtesy of our airlines, thanks to which we missed our plane back home, and were “forced” to stay in London for extra 24 hours. Bad London!
